Real Madrid's winger Extends Sincere Sorry to Los Blancos Devotees
The attacker has netted 5 strikes in 10 domestic competition matches during the current campaign.
Los Merengues forward Vinicius Jr has said sorry to fans for his reaction when substituted in the recent heated Clasico clash victory.
He was taken off in the 72nd min and showed his disappointment by walking immediately to the dressing room.
The Brazilian later returned to the bench and, following his side's narrow triumph, attempted to approach Barça's youngster Yamal during unsavoury post-match exchanges.
"This day I want to say sorry to all the supporters for my behavior when I was substituted in the big match," he wrote on X.
"In the same way as I have already done during this morning's training, I also want to say sorry once more to my teammates, the team, and the leadership.
"Sometimes emotion takes over me because I constantly desire to triumph and help my team. My winning mentality comes from the affection I hold for this institution and each thing it stands for."
Vinicius moved to the Spanish capital from Brazil in 2018 for a significant fee and has notched over a century of strikes in more than 300 games.
But his future in the Madrid is uncertain with reports in lately stating that Los Blancos would consider letting the player move on if they were to receive a suitable offer.
When the winger was taken off on Sunday, TV coverage from network Dazn picked him up saying: "Always me! I'm leaving the team! It's wiser if I leave, I'm leaving."
In his latest post on the platform, he stated: "I commit to keep striving every second for the good of Real Madrid, as I have acted since the initial arrival."
